Can We Talk About the "Twilight" Movie Coming Out Soon?

The 4th book seemed to gain speed in the beginning, was getting really happy, and then it took this ODD detour, and than that lengthy "history" lesson on the family tree (wink) and then the end- JUST ODD!!!

Twilight will always be my fav of the 4! OH and book 2, never cried so hard at a book- NOT a fan of Jacob!

Yes I even cried in New Moon! I'm definitely not team Jacob, so I think I just wanted more Edward

I'm really excited about the movie. However, I feel that if I wasn't a huge fan of the book, the movie trailers really wouldn't inspire me to see the movie. Anyone feel the same way?

I have not read the books but will see the movie. It's been awhile since I've watched a trailer but felt it was interesting enough that I knew it was a movie I would like to see. But I'm a sucker for any kind of scary movie so that probably doesn't help. I keep meaning to get the books but so far have forgotten.

edit to add- just bought all 4 e-books for $10 on e-bay, hopefully can start reading tomorrow!

I thought it was just horrible! IMO he should stick to acting and quit the singing! I've read all the books and am going to the movie the night it comes out. If I didn't take DD she'd run away!

I am so EXCITED for the movie to come out. I've talked DH into going including the kids.

I'm 39 and I love Twilight! I have finished the first two books, but I still have to finish the last two. Unfortunately this has been a busy month and I haven't had as much free time to read.

SSB just joined the fest last week... really enjoyed Twilight then and now working through New Moon. Do hope that the film holds up well, as agree the previews not vexing... but hope maybe great in the end.

I really enjoyed reading these books although the 4th one was a little "meh" for me. I get a kick out of the love for Edward and love talking to people about it. Some of my friends call me "Switzerland" as I really don't have a preference for Jacob or Edward ("How is that possible? You HAVE to pick one!" they exclaim.)

As for the movie, I am really looking forward to it and already have my tickets. It's going to be a girl's night out with my mom and sisters, and I am proud to say that I was one of the few who, when the news first hit about Robert Pattinson as Edward, was confident that he could pull it off.

I also would like to take the time to shout-out to my awesome husband who read all four books to see what all the fuss was about and who actually liked it.

ETA: A really fun webpage I like to go to for a laugh is twilightmoms.com. Those ladies are HILARIOUS. They also have twilightteens.com for the younger crowd who the book was originally intended before we in the older crowd took it over.

I think Edward just hurt her so much (even though it was to protect her) and sweet Jacob was there to help her. But---the imprinting on Reneesmee is really gross to me....I will be there opening night with my Twilight shirt on!!

Ok, went to the Mall this afternoon and walked past a store called "Torrid". Its for the curvy woman, I dont shop there much because I have been losing weight, ANYWAYS- they had just put out BRAND NEW Twilight T-Shirts for $28!! So YAH, I bought one!! Hubby was with me and I tried them on to see which one he liked- we agreed on the Bella and Edward one with them on the front and on the back is the famous Quote about "If you could live forever, what would you live for?" MY FAV quote!!

Also went and bought my teen daughter, at Hot Topic, the new Paramore TShirt from Twilight that has a forest scene with a twilight night scene over it and has PARAMORE across it with the last line from the "Decode" song on it.

She doesnt know I bought it for her yet, going to surprise her when she gets home!

Hot Topic had sold out of most of their T-shirts, all of the bags, and lots of posters. She said it has been CRAZY busy with Twilight coming out.

So if you want to buy something, get it soon in the store or online, this is going to be BIG!!
