Can we rent one set of snorkel equip and both of us use it?

On CC - can we rent one set of snorkel equipment and both of us use it?
Neither of us would be in the water at the same time as one of us would be watching/playing with DD (18 months), so we would be taking turns snorkeling anyway even if we had two sets of equipment.

Would that be frowned upon?

Yes...that is no problem. You can use them anyway you want. We once rented 2 sets for our family of 5 for the same reason...we would not all be in the water at the same time.

Once DCL rents you the gear...they really do not care how many in a family uses it.

You could, but depending on the fit of the mask on the adults' faces (it could fit one, and leak severely for the other) and foot size differences for the fins there would be no problem switching off with the equipment.
