We have a video monitor in Hollie's room and right now she is sitting up in her bed talking to God. This is her conversation:

i have to share this with you. my older stepbrother is a minister. one day in church his 4yo DD raised her hand for a prayer request and when he asked her what she wanted the congregation to prayer for, she said, "that mommy and daddy cook better."

layering is the key!!!

last year when we went in december we had a VARIETY of weather. on thursday there was a monsoon (it was BAD...buckets of rain!), friday was 40 degrees, saturday was cold in the morning and evening but nice during the day and sunday was like 70 all day. very odd! don't let that rain scare you though....i think that was a freak occurrence!

I, too, start my packing about 2-3 weeks in advance. I put things in there that I don't normally use at home--swim trunks, extra socks, travel size stuff....
