Can we order onion rings?

We like the food at Sci Fi Diner and its just a fun place to eat.
I see that on one of the burgers, it has an onion ring on it. Can I order a side of onion rings?
Have you done this? or do you know?

I couldn’t get a different side in 2017. I asked for the cucumber salad (which I don’t think they have anymore) but nope. It might have just been our server but I wouldn’t expect onion rings.

Yeah I saw the burger topped and "an" onion ring, that's how I know they have them. But they're not on the menu as a side, that's why I asked. I won't count on anything. I know I can get onion rings, like at Golden Oak Outpost in MK. I'll grab some after getting some cheeseburger spring rolls by the Tiki Room. Yum.

DH was able to get a side of onion rings there in February. Don't remember if they were actually on the menu or not then, though.

Sadly, I dont see onion rings on the menu. They use to be an appetizer. Now, gone. Shame. It was so good. Although they clearly do have onion rings since its in one of the burgers. I would ask to have it as a side. Make sure they see your birthday button. Maybe they'll sprinkle a little pixie dust and give it to you.

Yes, onion rings used to be an appetizer. And I have been able to get them as a side instead of fries in the past too. I noticed they aren’t showing on the latest menu. But I definitely had them in April, so it is a newish change. Maybe if enough people ask for them, they will return.

I really enjoyed those onion rings, sorry to hear they're MIA as a side. I have a workaround though, I'll just order a dozen or so burgers with one onion ring each. I will not be denied

Someone on another forum said that they asked and did get an order of onion rings with their burger. There's hope! lol

Maybe you could ask for extra onion rings on your burger. Like, a side's worth of extra onion rings.

We were there last week. In the past, I have substituted onion rings for the fries. Not an option this time. Not on the menu. Too bad becasue they were much better than the fries.

As an FYI, I think the spring roll cart has moved, it’s closer to the hub entrance to Adventureland now, or at least that’s what I saw online.

If these o rings are the same ones at Flame Tree, i'd try to score them as well. They obviously have them, they obviously have a fryer. My guess is that they are not offered because they cant create a steady streaming pattern of how often to make a batch for supplying the orders, BUT, if you ask for them, you'd get them. Just a guess.

What kind of diner-esque eatery would remove onion rings from the menu? LOL Burgers with fries and/or onion rings is a diner/burger joint staple.

I’m always asking for stuff not on the menu. And a lot of times. I get it. As stated before. Worse anyone can do is say no.
