Yes - Disney transportation doesn't check ids (unless you're going to Shades of Green).

Yes back in the day you needed a resort ID to get on a Disney resort bus, the Resort Monorail, and even the boats.

Absolutely. But we're talking decades ago. But we used to get a dated resort card to show for using the transportation. If I remember correctly, you could also use a stamped/dated park ticket, also.

There were far fewer resorts and restaurants when the id was a thing!

We first went in 1991 & it was gone by then, so over 3 decades ago.

Yes and I still have our Transportation Cards for POR. You had to show the driver to get on the bus. I think they are dated 1992.

My husband & I knew we were old a few years ago when our son told us that he yelled at neighborhood kids to get off his lawn.

I've got a long way to go before I need a walker, but I have no qualms about telling kids, dog walkers, or strangers to get off my lawn.
