Can we get front of the line on the morning/ day of check in?

We are doing Universal on a Friday/Saturday night, but really wanted to do the park on Friday instead of Saturday. Is there a way to get the front of the line on Friday? And does that work on ALL rides??

Short answer: yes.

Simply check in early and get your room key. They give it to you even before your room is ready. Lots of people check in early and head to the parks. They're used to that.

Forgot to answer: express works on all rides except for Pteradon Flyers.

How early is early? would they think you are being really cheeky if you wanted to get to the parks when they first open?

Not cheeky at all. Shouldn't be a problem checking in 7am/7:30am. Others would know better than me on this, though.

Just hand your luggage over to a bellhop. They will give you a tag receipt for your luggage and hold it for you until your room is ready. Of course, if you are driving, you can leave the luggage in your car as well.

In October, I left my sleeping family at the Nick hotel and checked into the HRH at 7:45AM and the room was ready. I went up, checked out the room, stopped at McD's got breakfast and went to pick up the family (we were all packed and ready to go by 11AM - we made that our pool day!!

so by all means - check in as EARLY as you want.....you may luck out and have a room ready
If not give your bags to the bell hop and get your receipt and off you go!!

just so I am clear here - you are staying onsite, correct?

if so, it is just the park tickets you are looking to buy, right?

Right -we are staying at HRH. We actually have a "free" ticket that we got in the mail, and just need to purchase one. The other strange thing about our stay is that we bought the hotel stay at a silent auction...so hopefully we can still use the benefit...Do you just present your room key I guess?

It doesn't matter how you booked the hotel, Yes, just show your room key to get your FOTL access on all the attractions.
