Can we get a 1BR at HH in early Aug at 7 mos?

We are thinking of HH for next summer instead of WDW but we own at VWL. Do we have any chance of getting a 1BR at the 7 month mark? Would we have a better chance trying to exchange for one of the other HH properties that are offered?

We tried to get a 2br for August at the 7 month window-didn't have any luck-BUT I did not call every day. We had no trouble booking for September. I've also read several posts from people who were successful-I guess what I'm trying to say is summer is a busy season for HH but not impossible for booking at the 7 month window. I think it's worth trying, especially if you can be flexible or travel later in August!

We added on at HHI because we loved it so much, and wanted the 11 mo booking ability. We generally stay in a 2BR. I understand that 1BRs and studios are the smallest number of rooms at HHI. There are far more 2BRs. I would say give it a try, but it might be difficult. It really REALLY is a wonderful summer vacation.
