We are honeymooning in the World and are doing so on the Gold Plan. We are staying at CR, so pretty central to most of our breakfast locations. I know it sounds busy, but let me know what you think. We are so excited, we can barely stand it! Inbetween all of the eating, tours, golf, etc, we plan on playing it by ear and taking advantage of the speed & sailboats. Any input would be welcomed! Keep in mind, we're always on the go and love to be on the go. Thanks!

Let me say congrats early on your upcoming wedding!!
For a young just married couple, your itienary looks great. Has enough open areas that can be taken at leisure. Have a great trip and enjoy many happy years togetherprincess:

Wow! Your itinerary looks fun-filled!We ate at Teppanyaki on the first night of our honeymoon too! Just take everything in stride, don't feel like you HAVE to pack everything in- have a fantastic time!

WOW!!! That is an ambitious plan. Perhaps a little too ambitious. I get the feeling you are trying to do everything. With 11 days you'll get to do a lot, but you can never do everything. Slow down a little.

You have large, sit down meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner EVERY day. That is a lot of eating, even on vacation. I realize with the gold plan you have all this included and want to get your money's worth, but I think it's too much. Three full, sit down meals a day are fine for 2-3 days in a row. But 10-11 days of it will get to you. I'd schedule some counter service breakfasts or lunches.

You also are doing a lot of running around Disney each day. For example, on May 12 you have breakfast at MK, lunch at MGM and dinner at the boardwalk. On May 14 you have breakfast at GF, lunch at Epcot and dinner at DTD. That is a lot of travelling in one day. Not only does it take a lot of time but it is tiring.

Also, you have a lot of late nights and early mornings. With all the activities during the day you will be exhausted by your 3rd day. Plan a slow day and another day to sleep in.

Like I said earlier, I think you're trying to do too much. I don't know if you've ever been to Disney before but I don't know when you'll do the rides/attractions at the park. Even if you've already done them before or they don't interest you, all the activities and meals are a lot.

I hope I haven't offended you with my critique. If you do keep this plan I'd love to know how close you kept to it once you got there and how exhausting it was. Please let us know.

Good luck, have fun, and congratulations on your wedding.

Beaker74,

I've rarely met anyone with as much energy at WDW as myself. I think I just met my match! Congratulations! You've put together an awesome itinerary. You may have some trouble at times getting from one venue to another. (I hope you have a car). For example, going from Chef Mickeys to the AK Tour might be tight timing, unless you get seated on time and eat efficiently. Likewise, you might have to push a bit to get to the Epcot Future World Tour on time from the CR breakfast. You can do everything you planned, but you have to be on your toes. By the way, if you like salmon, ask at Artist Point if they have the Copper River Salmon. It's one of the gourmet salmons of the world (from the Pacific Northwest) and is only available in late spring and early summer each year. Artist Point is one of the few restaurants in the country to get it each year.

Thanks for all of your input.

Steve - I have your book, and am bringing with us (to do on our down time, ha ha!). We have realized some of our timing is tight, we've already figured that the two conflicts you mentioned will be rectified by getting a cab, no time to wait on the buses.

Thanks again to all!

Personally, it's too much for me, but I know alot of people that do that. My mom planned trips like that for us, and she dragged us through the parks like a madwoman our whole lives, even scheduling bathroom breaks LOL. Now she lives there, and works for Disney, and can run that schedule if she wants... but when I go, we take it EASY. A vacation is not a vacation if I can't sleep in a bit, and take a nap when I'm tired. It just wore me out. Plus, I can't eat that much food!

Only you know you and your future spouse and what y'all can handle... Just be open to changing things if you really have an itching to head back to the room and relax one evening and just order roomservice =) Remember you will be on your honeymoon =)

And most of all, CONGRATS and have a BLAST!!!!!!!!

I say go ahead with it! While at any Disney park, I like to work myself into my own made-up "SAES" or "Severe Accute Exhaustion Syndrome" by the time I am leaving. HAHA. All kidding aside, I figure you are only in The World every-so-often (especially us Chicagoans!) and should make the most of every moment.

Except I hate all of your 5/13 plans because that is my birthday and I am leaving WDW four days before it :( :( :( :(

LOL only kidding... have a wonderful time in WDW and at your wedding!! :bride: :groom:
