Help!

Has anyone travelled U.S. Airways and had to change flights at Pittsburgh Airport? Is it a difficult airport to get around?

The airline assured me that 32 minutes was enough time to get to another gate, but I am a little worried. Apparently we don't have to get our luggage and we aren't travelling with little ones so this should help, but can anyone out there put my mind at ease.

I really just want us to get to WDW as quickly as we can without any hassles.

Thanks and have a great day.

Hi PJ

We fly out of Buffalo into Pittsburg all the time. We have never had a problem making our connections. It is not a very big airport and everything is clearly marked (even for old geezers lke me and mine):D

So put your mind to rest, or worry about other things, like planning a future trip or how much to spend at WDW or something else.;)

Peg
PS....you are at the US Airways gates when you deplane, so your next gate is usually right in the area.

Peg,

Thanks so much for the reassurance. It is so nice to be able to just throw out all these questions and get back answers from such nice, caring people.

Have a wonderful day!!

It must be a legal connection if the airline booked you on this, however I would ask them what they will do for you in case your first flight is delayed and you cannot make the connection. Do they have a later flight that day that they will protect you on? You will probably be ok, but it never hurts to know what will happen in a worst case scenario. I would never like to book one of my clients with only a 1/2 hour connection, just in case.

PoohBWV,

I'm not sure what you mean about a legal connection. We did book through Travel Cuts and the agent there said if we did miss the flight because of a delay, the airline would be responsible for getting us on another flight. But I really hope this doesn't happen. I would love this to be a really "smooth" trip, because I don't like flying/airports to begin with. I think I will take your advice and call the airline again and see what they would do if we were delayed. You're right, it's better to know ahead of time what to expect.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.
