Can we pay towards the room before checking in? just call?
I usually have it all saved up before when using cash but just pay the bill when it comes in
can it be done ahead of time?
I may need to have a plan - this trip is 8total nights cash, 6nights points

I think you can. I made reservations by calling CRO and I can see my reservations online and there is a link to make a payment, says minimum $20.00, so every payday I'm going to pay some on my package.

We do that every trip!

I book the room as soon as possible, usually a year out. Then every month I pay a room night. Then we buy plane tickets. Before we leave we have already bought our park tickets.

When we get there all we have to pay for is food & stuff we want to buy. It is a GREAT way to do the vacation! No stress, everything is prepaid, no worries!

I know it takes a little more discipline but why don't you open one of the ING accounts and stash the money there until a few weeks before your trip, withdraw it and then pay for your room in full. You'd be earning 2.35% interest instead of giving the money to Mickey for free. Not a lot of cash, mind you, but it might be enough to splurge on some Mickey bars!

I always do this and our room is paid off before we go. I also found an 800 number to call for Disney Reservation ( I don't remember where I got this from but it worked last summer.) 1-800-421-3732.

how do you make payments online?
