Can we buy MVMCP the day of the party....

We are hoping to go to the December 10th MVMCP but don't want to pre-buy the tickets until we are actually in Orlando... You never know with weather and things if we will have any glitches in our plans. Can I purchase the tickets the day of the party (or a few days before) and just bring my DVC card to get the discount or do I HAVE to prepurchase?

Anyone do this?

I think you have to buy the day before or earlier.

The day before won't be a problem because we arrive on the 7th of December. Does anyone know where to buy these party tickets? Can we buy them at the concierge at AKL or do we have to go to Downtown Disney or MK? Thank you for any help!!

You can call DVC and get them. They will be at will call at MK.

1. Discounted tickets must be purchased in advance.

2. DVC Member Discounted tickets must be ordered through Member Services and set up for will-call.

3. They can be picked up at any Park ticket or Guest Relations window.

If you have Annual Pass, the discount should be the same and you can buy them at your resort.

For MNSSHP, I printed out a PDF attachment from my order confirmation email and used that to pick up my tickets.

We will be there, and we already purchased our tickets for the 8th. There is NO discount for that date. Not all dates offer the discount. I know your worried about the weather with Orlando, but purchasing now in advance will do 2 things.....

First guarantee that you get a ticket. There are a limited number for each party, and when they sell out, they sell out. Now, they may not sell out until the day of, but since it's a non discounted night, my guess it that day will sell out earlier.

Second, it is cheaper for advanced sales by a few bucks. If your plan is to definitely do the party, I would buy them now. I wouldn't wait, but that's me.

We actually are going to the one on the 10th. Its my birthday Lucky for us that date is DVC discounted. I will order the day before we leave from DVC and then do will call! This is a Mom and Dad only trip and just want to make sure all goes well with leaving the kids with Grandma before we pay for our tickets. I also am hoping that this article http://blog.touringplans.com/2013/06/05/disney-world-magic-kingdom-christmas-party/ is accurate about that party being the least crowded!
