I would like to start off by thanking Pete for changing his thoughts on the top ten threads. I understand people's fustrations with Disney as I have them too. However with that being said , I can't wait to go back. The podcast is my favorite time to relax and enjoy thinking about Disney. I hardly ever go to any other board other than the podcast forum. The negative comments , yes , I do myself admit I'm guilty . I'm sorry but truly love WDW and my extended family the dis unplugged.

While I'm definitely interested in hearing Pete's favorite threads, I think there is room for both his favorite threads as well as the actual top 10 (analytics wise).

The Top 10 aren't always negative threads. I wouldn't have ever known about the resort specific FAQ threads had it not been for the top 10 threads, and that was very helpful for our trip last year. I just don't ever go to the resorts board, so I would never have seen them. I think I learned about mesaboy2's FP+ tips thread because it was #1 on the top 10 for months last year. That was *very* helpful.

I think the vast majority of people who are here, if not all of them, truly love Disney and want their trips to be the best they can be. I also think people share negative experiences to help others who are planning trips to *avoid* the negative things that happened on their trip. I know I've always learned a *lot* from the more critical/analytical threads that have helped my trips.

While I agree that this particular month's top 10 was a bit negatively focused, I don't think it outweighs the good the top 10 does in exposing listeners/watchers to subjects and areas of the board that they might not otherwise ever see.

I would rather hear about the most interesting or Pete's favorites threads -some of the Top 10 were the same each month. I'd admit those Top 10 may be some of the most helpful, but maybe there is a way to create a link to make them accessible at any time.

They sure were a selection of whiny threads. The top 10 segments weren't really my favorite anyway so being exposed to interesting threads as opposed to just the most popular based on metrics will probably be a step up.

It would never happen, but I would love to see an entire "segment" show - or a full hour approximately - dedicated to the top threads (either based on traffic and/or Pete's favorites) each month where the team can discuss a little more in-depth the things we're discussing on the boards. Overall, I would like to see a better connection to the boards on the show. I consider the show an extension of the boards, that's just me...although I get the feeling the team probably sees it the other way around.

I think a segment that appears at any time with threads that warrant discussion or attention is a better way than forcing a monthly top 5, I think we'll get more out of it..

I'm not sure I agree with removing the traffic ranked top 10, but I am not thrilled with the presentation as it currently is given. It's just too long, too repetitive and there should be some way to quickly summarize many of them without reading the first post that doesn't really tell a picture of what the thread was like if you read it in it's entirety...
