Can UK residents sign up for DVC on a european cruise?

I would like to sign up for DVC with Disney finance but am not visiting Disney until next year. There are European cruises though some sailing from the UK I wondered whether I would be able to sign up with finance on one of these?

On our 2007 Med cruise the DVC folks were very busy writing up new contracts. We referred some folks we met on that cruise, however, they were from the U.S.

I would suggest contacting your Guide, assuming you already have one. Otherwise, contact the Sales Division with your questions. I would think it may be possible as you will be on the ship as any other national passenger.
