Can TT's use tent/pop up sites?

I am a little confused about this. When we were at the fort in Sept., we had a pup on the basic tent/pup loop. On our loop were 2 large travel trailers and one very older motorhome.

I didn't think you were allowed to book a tent/pup site if you had a travel trailer or motorhome?

I'm asking now because we are looking to buy a tt very soon and I want to book something for Christmas. There is a tent/pup site that comes up in the search but it specifically says no motorhomes or 5th wheels. Does that mean TTs also?? I don't want to book it if we aren't allowed to or shouldn't - bad camping manners :)

Thanks!!

As you know, the partial hookup sites do not have sewer, and Fort Wilderness does not have a dump station.

That is the reason they recommend that the larger units do not book the partial sites.

However, even with a travel trailer, if you feel that you will fit and have a way to deal with the grey and black water, then by all means go ahead and book a partial.

(The recommended way to deal with waste water at the Fort is to take a portable waste container to the nearest full hookup site and dump there.)

Thanks! For a couple of nights at Christmas we can use the comfort stations and not use the b/r in the trailer. Just wasn't sure what to do :)
