I thought I remembered that they could, but I asked the CM on the phone and she didnt know :confused3 and so she put me on hold and went to ask a co-worker and said she was getting "mixed answers" so our call ended with me not booking and DDP at all nor finding out the information.

We are leaving in less than a week and I am flapping in the wind about the DDP! We have used it in the past with great benefit but I had 3 kids and 1 adult now I have the reverse 3 adults 1 kid.

We have one ADR at OHana for breakfast and I believe if I add one more character meal or sit down the plan will be worth it, that is IF we can use our TS for QS.

Thanks for your help!!

You do know the DDP is $55 for the adults? How can you make that value with only 2 TS and the rest QS? Even your Ohana breakfast at $25 per adult will be difficult to see the full value. I'd say go OOP and forget the DDP

Not for breakfast.

Character dinner buffets are more expensive than lunches, which are more expensive than breakfasts.

I have to agree, if y'all are a CS-type family, the cost of the plan for adults probably makes it a bad choice for you if you aren't doing much table service. You might check into the QSDP and just pay out of pocket for your TS meals, and come out better.

As for using your TS credits at CS locations, I'm going to vote for not possible.
I know several years ago, when free dining had overloaded the restaurant capacities, they briefly offered to let you switch TS credits to CS credits plus snacks, or some such combination - but that is an old offer and as far as I know has not been allowed since.

There is some degree of frequency in being allowed to use CS credits for snacks (we do this on most trips, including the last one in April 2012), but not TS for CS.

If you're only going to book two TS meals (especially breakfasts) and use the rest of the TS for CS, the DDP is not a savings for a party of mostly adults. Unless it's free dining. And yes, now you can use TS credits at CS restaurants.

I was under the impression that character meals were $36 per adult?

As PP said, there is no set price for ALL character meals. They differ by time of day and by restaurant. Go to allearsnet.com and check out the prices to see if doing DDP makes any sense for you.

Thanks Yall.

We love TS, but this time we have no ADRs except OHana for their birthday breakfast as I just booked the trip 3 days ago! Its tough for this planner to know we are going without any set plans, its hard for my SID son too :) we call him the tour guide, he already trying to plan the days.

Im going to go with the QSDP just so I dont have to think about all the money all the time. And my kids LOVE deserts no matter what the meal!

Can we still go to Goofys and use our left over snack credits?
