Breakfast reservations at 8am at Hollywood and Vine, flight out of mco at 1:50. I know ME asks you to be at your bus stop 3 hours prior to your flight. That would make it 11am.

Can I do breakfast in MGM at 8am and be back at Caribbean Beach by 11am?

You should be able to do this. But be sure you pay attention to the time and allow extra in case you have to wait for a bus from the park back to your resort.

I would also consider a Taxi just in case you start to run short on time. That should take the stress off of you to know you can always do that if you have problems with the bus.

Actually they will pick you up before 11:00, but you still should have time. Worst case scenario is that you might have to take a cab from MGM to CBR if you are running late and you just miss a bus, but in my experience it doesn't take more than 90 minutes for a character meal.

You should be able to manage it. Don't linger over breakfast, be sure to be out at the bus stop at MGM by 9:30, at the latest. If your flight leaves at 1:50, they will tell you to be ready for the bus around 11:15ish. If you have carryon bags to collect, leave enough time to do that. It can take 15+ mins to get those bags out to you. And when they (DME) give you a time to be there, that's the time the bus pulls out, so be there 15 mins before the time you have been given. So, based on all of the above, be sure to be back at CBR by 10:30 or so.
Not particularly pleasant but it is doable.

everytime we used ME we were giving a 3hr time plus 15 min to be at the bus. yours should be 10:35 am.

I would ask at the desk what your pick-up time would be for that morning
