Can Starbucks put a paper certificate on an actual card?

I purchased a Starbuck's gift certificate through Target and printed it out. Can a Starbucks location put it on an actual card?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by printing it through Target. But I purchased a Starbucks gift certificate through Groupon. It was emailed to me. I printed it out and took it to a Starbucks and purchased an actual gift card that I was able to give to someone.

I should've said I bought it through Target online & now have a printed gift cert that's a full sheet of paper. I'll take it to Starbucks & ask about buying a gift card with it!

ANother option (esp. if it's for yourself) is to get the Starbucks app and just add the value from the printed certificate onto the app.

Yes, you can pay using the app! We did that at the Trolley Car Cafe in HS with no problem at all.
