Can special occasions be noted when you make a priority seating? I always thought you could do this but when I called, they told me it could not be noted, that you had to tell the hostess upon check in.

yes, i have done it several times for birthdays and anniversaries. it is a good idea to mention it upon check in at the restaurant. good luck! :teleport:

Yes, it can be put on at the time you make the PS, or anytime after, just refer to the PS Conf #. Please be explicit, don't just put "Birthday" it will help the server if it says "Jane's 5th Bday" or "Mom's Bday" It may also help to say something to the server so they know who is who at the table.

Some CM's will actually ask you, if there are any special occasions, when you book your PS, without being prompted. I've also had a CM tell me that she would note it, if I wanted, but the restaurant wasn't required to do anything special, which I knew, but they do normally acknowledge the occasion it in some way. These 2 conversations with different CM's, were within the same week. Bottom line: Yes they do note special occasions, some CM's are just more helpful than others. Definitely remind the host, when signing in for your PS, because they sometimes over look it. Have a great trip! :)

well, this CM wasnt helpful at all. She said there was no way to go into the computer and note the special occasion.Maybe I should call back?!
