can someone tell me Sizzix --Ellison -- are they going out of business?

I think I read somewhere Sizzix is changing it's logo and packaging so they are clearancing all the old stuff to make way for the new.

I know at GASC in Arlington, the Sizzix dies were 50% off, but the Big Shots were full price.

I just read about this yesterday while looking for info on the difference between a Sidekick & a Tag-along for someone.

The Sizzix brand was co-owned by Ellison & Provo Craft. Ellison bought out PC's share & have changed their logos, etc. That's the reason for the clearance. I'm guessing that explains why they've kept some of their old dies, but not others...especially in the Sizzlits line. It probably depends on who the designer worked for - Ellison or Provo Craft.
