Hi,

We will be going to WDW on 3-1-07. My DH is bi-polar and has a lot of panic and anxiety problems especially around a lot of people. I know what you are saying now, "why in the world are you going to WDW, if can't be around people" and I understand that concern. He wants to be able to experience the mouse with his little girls for the first time. He went to WDW as a child and wants his kids to enjoy it too.

So my question is, how can I get a guest accomodation pass? Would we be able to use it to bypass some of the crowds in lines? The waiting in line is my biggest concern with him. But I think with the proper medication and the ability to avoid some lines he should be ok for most of the time.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!!:)

Hi and :welcome: to disABILTIES!

I agree with bopper, that you need to read the FAQ.

The important thing to remember is it is a Guest Assistance Card and not a Pass. You can explain the needs to Guest Services. You will be going at a time that is not very busy.

Having the GAC and using it are two different things.

Your first choice, if possible, is to use the standby lines. There is also FastPass, which allows more time to wander the parks and less time to wait on lines. Think of the GAC as insurance, to be used only as needed.

If you have any questions not answered by the FAQs thread, feel free to keep asking questions.

You are going at a good time to avoid crowds, so that should help a lot. Even during busy times, getting to the parks early can help you a lot with avoiding long waits in line and crowds. I can't get my DD up early enough to get to the parks at opening, but DH has gone with other members of our party and haas been able to get all the Fantasyland rides (some twice) plus at least one other big atraction like Splash Mountain done by 10 or 11 and they have left before it got really busy.
You might also want to look into TourGuide Mike (Theme Park Board Sponsor). He was a WDW VIP Tour Guide before he started his website and it was his business to know what was busy and when so he could steer his VIP guests to the areas that were not busy.
