can someone please explain PIN codes?

I'm new to this...we've always booked under one of the specials offered (like B4/G3free)...someone mentioned calling Disney and asking if there was a PIN code under their name?

We've got a trip booked for the last week in April and I'm really hoping we can come up with some kind of discount that can be applied, ideally and extension of the B4/G3 deal.
