Hi

I've seen different messages about "Hotel Fastpasses" on this board and indeed in various brochures, so can anyone explain how they work?

1. Is it correct that only guests at the Disneyland Hotel are given a "Hotel Fastpass", and not at any other hotel?

2. How many "Hotel Fastpasses" do guests at the Disneyland Hotel get? Some places say one, some places say three.

3. Who gets access to "VIP Fastpasses"? Is this available only to those staying at suites in the Disneyland Hotel, Hotel New York or the Newport Bay?

Thanks in advance

This is the first I've heard of "hotel fastpass" but from what it sounds very similar to the VIP fastpass, interesting! According to the disney website it's for guests staying at the Disneyland hotel only. EDIT - I think the hotel fastpass only gives you one fastpass, so you can only skip the lines once. Then you'd have to use the machines like everyone else.

Everyone who enters the park is entitled to obtain a standard fastpass ticket. Next to the larger attractions you will see the fastpass machines. You simply put your park entrance ticket into the machine and it will give you your fastpass ticket. On your fastpass it will tell you a time to return. You return at that time and enter the fastpass line. You can only hold one fastpass at a time so you have to wait until your time slot until you can pick up one for another attraction.

A VIP fastpass entitles you to enter the fastpass line whenever you want. You don't have to bother with the fastpass machines. The benefits of this are obvious. To get a VIP Fastpass you have to stay in Castle club at the Disneyland Hotel, or a suite at any of the Disneyland resort hotels.

Hi, just returned from a stay at the Disneyland hotel and yes we received hotel fastpasses. I think you only get them at the Disneyland hotel. We got 1 pass per person per day. You can only use them between 2.00pm and 6.00pm for some reason. Luckily for us there were little to no queues so we didn't use all of them.:thumbsup2

Can you use your fastpass any day or they are day-specific?
We are going for 5 days, but we are not going to the parks on one of them, but still would like to use the fastpasses of that one day. Is it possible?
I'm not planning on using fastpasses, as most of them are for thrill rides that are not appropriate for the ages of my children, but I might use some of them to try indy and BTM.

Sorry cant answer your question about days but can tell you that you can also use FP on Peter Pan and Buzz and Flying Carpets which are all suitable for all ages although if you go into the park for EMH you will also be able to ride Peter Pan and Buzz without a queue anyhow

Last time I stayed at Hotel New York they gave each person in our party a fast pass for each night we were in the hotel.

They were tickets and can be used on the fastpass line, at any time on any ride, as long as the FP line was open.

We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel in Feb and you could only use them between 2 and 6 and I think, but I could be wrong, that they were dated.

But this must be some years ago. Because some years ago you got 3 FP per person in the DLH, HNY and NPBC (Admirals Floor) but this stopped some years ago and now you only get them at the DLH and if I remember correctly they have a date on them. So if you spend lets say one day in Paris they expire. (But im am only 99,9% sure) Can anyone confirm this?
