Can someone help me with purchase incentives!!

Hi, I am really sorry, but there is so much info around and I just wanted to be clear before I speak to my guide as to what is on offer and available to me.

I have currently signed a contract for 110 AKV & 55 BLT points (old incentives with a referral), but I have yet to pay any money. I phoned yesterday and was told that I could speak to my guide and still change my mind on what I want, but he hasn't phoned me back yet - so I am going to chase him today.

I am now looking at buying 100 AKV points and 100 BLT points instead. Can anyone tell me what should be the best offer I can get at the moment??

(By the way, I also watched the webcast - if that offer would be more beneficial to me??)

I think that the webcast deals would give you the best price. On that, if I remember correctly (and didn't have time to search for sure), that with a 200 point buy, you are eligible for $18.00 off per point, making both AKV and BLT $94.00 per point - total price $18,800.

The new incentives for AKV would be $21.00 off per point ($91.00), but BLT is only going to be $13.00 off ($99)==total price $19,000.

When I spoke to my guide on Tuesday she said the incentive to add on 100 pts at AKV was $19 off per point. Everywhere you look it seems it's a different story.

DVD isn't going to screw you on the price. The current price is the current price at the time you executed your contract. It doesn't matter what's out there, what matters is your contracted price, and to get that your should call your Guide.

Also, current members have been receiving in past couple days by mail Sharing Magic booklet which states that with a member referral a new purchaser can receive 3 night cruise with minimum purchase of 160 points or more ....it is not clear if this can be combined with $ off per point incentive but it would definitely be worth keeping an eye out to see if anyone posts that they were able to get both and of course, ask guide regarding this.

Your guide is correct. $19.00 off is the discount on 100 point add on for members.

But, some new members, who are adding on at the 200 point level, are being allowed to split their contract between AKV and BLT (ie: getting 100 of each) and still qualifying for the discounts at the 200 point level--which, is something that seems fairly new.

It does appear that there are a lot of different incentives happening right now--those offered on the cruise, those for webcast attendees, and those that are just buying!

The incentives you bought under offered an additional $2.00 off once you reached the 200+ level! Good luck and keep us posted as to what you decide!!

I am giving up on the webcast incentives - it would only save me $200 and it sounds as though they can't find me on the system - it's just not worth me fighting it - I just hope I can get 100 points at BLT and 100 points at AKV for $19k total - If I can, then I will be a very happy!!

I am currently playing the waiting game again - a Manager is phoning me between 10.30am and 11am, its now 11.07am and counting!!

Hi again

Just thought I would update you all - I have spoken to a really great guide called Nick this morning and he has confirmed that the purchase will indeed be $19,000 and I get to keep my december UY and AKV 08 points.

So I am really pleased!!! Just have to wait on the paperwork and I will be the proud owner of not 165 points, but 200!!! yeah!!!
