Can someone help me figure out what discount we had last summer?

Hi All! We are booking our annual vacation to WDW sometime over the next few weeks. We booked our vacation last year around April 5th. I was in the process of booking thru AAA when my DH claimed he could find a better deal with Disney. Sure enough, after my months of researching he was able to save us hundreds with just a quick call to Disney. I was frustrated but ecstatic! LOL. Anyway, we are trying to figure out what the discount was so we can request it again this year. I am not sure if everyone will find it to be a good deal but we were so excited about being on club level we went for it. Our package was the following for $3,693.38 August 4-9, 2012:

2 adults, 2 children (under 9)
5 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge standard club level
Magic Your Way Quick Service Dining
Park Hopper with water park

What do you think? Was it a good deal? What discount is it? Thank you!

It was the save up to 30% on room rates.

We had this last year in June too. It was a good deal.

There currently isn't anything out for the time frame you are going. Keep checking the Disney website for discounts. They hopefully will be removing the old one and putting a new one in it's place very soon.

Here is a link to MouseSavers.com. They have a list of historic discounts. Keep in mind that there are some inaccuracies in the list, and it doesn't include black out dates within a discount period. But it gives you a general idea.

Thank you for the replies! I will stalk the Disney website for discounts. We would like to go the first week in August. I am getting a little nervous that we are waiting too long to book. Do you think we still have plenty of time? Guess we have no choice of we want a possible discount. Ugh! Come on Disney!

Hi. We also booked that special club level rate at AKL. It was a discount on "standard" rooms and it was more than 30%. Since AKL club level rooms are all called "standard" they were included. If I remember right they were $325 a night all in including weekends. Would love to see that rate again.
