I bought a grab bag lot of 20 pins off e-bay for my DD4 and DD7 to trade on our upcoming trip.
There are a few marked Lanyard Pin Series. What does that mean?
There are a few Disney Catalog Limited Editions. Are those tradeable since they are from the catalog?
There is one back that says 'Created Especially for AAA Vacations' It has the AAA logo and Disney. Is that tradeable?
Also some have rubbery mouse ears as backs and others have the 'normal' pin backs. Does it make a difference?
TIA :earsboy:

"There are a few marked Lanyard Pin Series. What does that mean?"
Lanyard Pins are pins that you can't buy but you have to trade with a CM to get them. They have a different series each year. And yes, you can trade them back to the CM

"There are a few Disney Catalog Limited Editions. Are those tradeable since they are from the catalog?"
Disney Catalog LE pins are tradeable. The standard rule is if it has the Disney copyright on the back and the CM doesn't have one of that pin on the lanyard. And CMs normally don't turn down a little kid's trade even when they have that pin already on their lanyard.

"There is one back that says 'Created Especially for AAA Vacations' It has the AAA logo and Disney. Is that tradeable?" Yup see prior answer.

"Also some have rubbery mouse ears as backs and others have the 'normal' pin backs. Does it make a difference?" Nope not at all. However, be warned the rubber back do fall off when you don't notice it, and the next thing you know, the pin is gone too. So, if you want to keep the pin, and will be heartbroken if it's gone, store it some place safe.

Another piece of advice, pick a theme of pins to collect otherwise you will go crazy. Some people collect Tinkerbell pins, Stitch pins, Chip and Dale, lanyard series, etc.
To see what pins are out there, go to pinpics.com. You'll get a feel for how many pins we know about and can do a search to narrow your hunt.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info :) I already told the girls if they are going to trade they needed to pick a theme. I get the feeling one will go for Minnie and the other for princesses or villians (she's an odd one :) )
