Can someone fill me in on good requests for our OKW stay? Fax them or phone them?

Hi everyone, since I've never been to OKW I'm wondering if anyone can give me some pointers as to which building/location is the best to request.

We'll have two small children, so first floor would be nice - unless there are any advantages in staying on higher floors??!!

We also need "non-smoking" and would love a water view. Any ideas or suggestions appreciated - plus the fax number too if you've got it! :)

everyone has their favorite location.

just ask for a water view, first floor, non-smoking. I also ask for near quiet pool, and bus stop. If you ask for a particular building and that building is full - you might not like what you will get. I don't like first floor because the shurbs and plants can get if your way of the view. Second and third are better if you want a view.

only the new building 62 through 64 have elevators. I think that they are all golf views.

with children I would definitely try to get near a bus stop unless you are planning on driving to the parks.

sorry I forgot the fax number

I generally make my request when I make my reservations.

I can't tell you what to request but here is an excerpt from my trip report to OKW which will tell you what to avoid.

"The resort is lovely, but a bit quiet for our taste. What was bad was our room. We had the worst location imaginable. 5010. A disabled person's room (no tub-luckily our sons recently became willing to take showers or we would have had to moved again) Maybe it was because it was for a disabled person, but this studio did not feel much bigger than BWV. The room is 7/10 mile from Hospitality House, 2/10 from the nearest ice machine/bus stop (and that is far with a sleepy kid in tow or arms)...it is close to Buena Vista Road outside and 4 air conditioners both of which make plenty of noise. The balcony looks out to the busy Buena Vista Road and if you lean you could see the golf course. Every one us whacked our shins on the bed frames at least twice in the two days. And the bus system foiled us. Sat night on returning it left us at the Hospitality House to wait another 10 minutes for an internal bus. Sunday we parked at Hospitality House, which this time was the last stop after the bus did go thru the entire resort for 15 minutes, turning the 7 minute ride from MNSSHP into a 22 minute ride. "

This was at the very end of Peninsular road. My only request was to be near a pool. We were near nothing but the noisy road. I would recommend you specify not to be in this location, not to be in a disabled room.
