Can someone explain the 'two seatings' at Epcot's Princess Breakfast?

When I call for reservations, do I just ask for the '1st seating' or '2nd seating'? Or do I ask for a specific time when I make reservations for the Epcot Princess Breakfast?

I read this on the PS Calculator Webpage:

There are two seatings at 8:30-9:00am and 9:50-10:20am every day.

And I can't tell if I am suppose to ask for a time in within those two periods, or just ask for 1st or 2nd seating.

I want the later seating because MGM has the Early Magic Hour the day we would go and I thought we would go to MGM first for that and then go over for Breakfast after we had a ride on the Rockin Roller Coaster.

When I called for my PS the CM asked me what time I wanted, it seems that there was alot of availabilty for our date. She ratteled off a bunch of times, and I chose 8:40 so I don't think there is just 2 seatings.

Did you call first thing on the first morning it was available for booking? Or is this breakfast easier to book?

I think that they don't seat any tables for a certain period of time so the Princesses can circulate the room. We went to the first seating in December and had a wonderful time. We drove our rental to Epcot and parked close enough to walk right in. We are going to do this again on our upcoming trip. The food and Princesses were awesome!

I just called last week for 08/02/03, which would have been approx. 90 days. I was quite surprised myself to have choice times available. We had tried for this past Dec right at the 120 day mark and was unable to get it. I'm sure you will be able to get it. Good Luck!
