Hi,

We are going to DL on Tue and this will be our first time experiencing the Festival of Holidays. The information on DL's site isn't totally clear. I see there is an AP Corner where AP Holders can purchase a Sip and Savor Pass for $45 to various booths. Then I read there is a "tasting passport." Is that the same thing as the Sip and Savor pass? Or is the tasting passport for non-AP Holders and what is the difference between the two?

Also, I am the only one in our family who has an AP, so can I enter the AP Corner with my husband and daughter (who would have regular tickets) or would only I be allowed entrance?

If someone could explain all the details I would be most appreciative! I've searched this forum, Facebook, and the DL site but I can't find answers to these questions. TIA!

For the AP corner only AP Holders are allowed in, period. They won’t let you bring in others who do not. I can’t answer the other question, sorry

I really enjoy the Sip and Savor Pass. We used it at DCA Food and Wine and it was a nice way to try 8 different food or non-alcoholic beverages. Though, it usually makes sense per cost to use it on food over the beverages. The tasting passport is a way you can keep track of what items are at which booth, along with some pictures, but it doesn’t entitle you to any food/drinks.

The tasting passport is just a booklet that anyone can get as explained here in the comments section of the disneyfoodblog website : “Hi, Candice! Our pal Sabrina (@everythingdisney.55) shared that the Tasting Passport is essentially a booklet with information on all the booths and food/drink options. You can also collect stamps in the Passport at each booth you visit and a “completion” stamp if you visit all the booths. The Passport is free.”

In regards to the AP items : ONLY those with a valid AP can enter the AP areas and purchase the sip n savor pass. So no your husband and daughter would not be allowed in nor would they be allowed to purchase the sip n savor pass since it is exclusively a perk for AP holders.

Hope this helps !

Thank you everyonoe.

Astylla, so are the tasting booths inside the AP Corner also? Or can I just go in to purchase the Sip and Savor pass and come back out? I don't need to eat all the food options on the pass by myself, so we really only need one pass, and I'm thinking we can share whatever food we get with it. I don't know how all this is set up.

No no - the booths are for EVERYONE to enjoy and are scattered along from Sonoma Terrace last year down Paradise Pier towards Goofy's Flight school.
So yes you can enter to buy the pass , get your button and exit at your leisure.
