Can someone explain the DDE card to me as if I am a 2 year old?...LOL

If I have the DDE while dining in large group and someone else decides to pickup the bill. Would they accept the DDE discount still?

We did this at our rehearsal dinner, DH's parents paid and DH has the DDE card, and the restaurant took it no problem. But that could have just been a fluke at that restaurant.

I see I'm not the only one who ventures off the W&H page ;)

We had a similar experience with DDE. We were out in EPCOT for our 16th anniversary dinner with friends and my brother as well as our kids (total of 8). My brother wanted to pay and we were going to charge it and let him pay us back (not very elegant, I know) and the waiter overheard us and offered. I thought that was really nice. -Skip

lol yes, it's time to see the bigger picture of this madness called disney wedding planning :rotfl2:

Question about alcoholic beverages. Is it only good on drinks that are purchased at sit-down restaurants with a meal? Or is it good at bars at the resorts or pool bars too?

After reading the listing of participating restaurants, the one that I did not see was Teppanyani. Did I miss it, or was it added later, or is it just not included?

Sorry to say Teppanyaki is not included.

the cost for AP holders is 50$; your card will not be charged until the order is filled. you can use it at most,if not all, sit-downs through-out wdw, parks and resorts. i do know the chef's table at victoria and albert is not included. there are not restrictions as to what can be ordered. it is good for 1 year and does have an expiration date. we had no problems whatsoever using it earlier this week and saved 87$ on dining. :earboy2:

The last time we dined Victoria and albert chefs table the accepted the DDE card. The over a year ago, but things could have change by now. :confused3
