I like her. I think she's hilarious. She did some schtick on a celebrity that my DH's company had business dealings with, and she was so on target. I think that's when I really started liking her. She does make me cringe sometimes with some of her comments and bad language, but hey...in general, I think she's a riot. My favorite line? "I talk about people behind their backs; it's called 'manners'". Seems to fit some of these boards. Anyway...I don't watch the D-List show or her specials unless I happen to come across them and I'm in the mood. But I've already got a collection of too many shows that I commit to.
Can't stand Sarah Silverman. Lisa Lampanelli? Never heard of her, and don't recognize her pictures.
Love Ellen, when I catch her show, which isn't often.
We saw Jimmy Fallon a couple of months ago, and he used a lot of foul language. But, he wasn't also funny (IMHO). I don't think foul language negates humor...I just think it doesn't MAKE humor. And the funniest performance of any comedian I ever saw was Jay Leno (much funnier than his talk show monologues), and he was very skimpy with foul language, and hilarious.
