Can someone else use my ADR?

I have an ADR that I don't think I'm going to use on my upcoming trip, because now I'm planning to do Fantasmic that night instead.

Our friends will now be in WDW at the same time, also have 5 person family, and haven't made their ADR's yet. They will be on the DDP as well and I was wondering if they could just take my confirmation # to the restaurant to use the ADR.

When I made this ADR it was before I officially booked our trip, so I never attached our vacation reservation # to the ADR. I didn't know if that would make a difference.

Just tell them to check-in using your name. Give them your confirmation number just-in-case. It should not be a problem. And if it is they can always say their family member was nice enough to book the ADR for them - isn't she sweet!

Exactly what the PP said. I even had a CM on the phone tell me this was a better idea than trying to coordinate one person canceling and another person picking up the ADR.

If they check in using my name with the confirmation, will there be a problem when they pay with their KTTW card that has a different name?

NOPE!! Their shouldnt be a prob paying with your KTTW card. I really dont think they care who's name the ADR is under, as long as you have an ADR. And they will only charge the card that you physically present to them. Not the one that is on the ADR.

Just be aware that if you make another reservation for the same time period (as in Lunch/Dinner) That they may cancel the old one. You are only allowed one reservation per time period.
