Can someone else pick up a mobile order that I place through my account?

If my teenage son is in a different area of the park (or even in a different park) than me, can I place a mobile order for him to pick up, or do I need to pick it up? Just thinking about whether or not I can use my discount for his food if he is in Galaxy's Edge and I am in Fantasyland.
 
So would it be acceptable to send him a screenshot of that? The screen that lets you know it is ready for pick up?
 
Yes. I’ve ordered things for people to pick up when I’m not even in the parks! Usually if you just have the name and order number you can get it without even a screenshot. But send a screenshot just in case.

David at Fresh Baked often orders a treat for someone in the parks when he is at home doing a live stream. Seems you just need the 4 digit order number to pick it up but sure, send a screenshot and make sure to tap “I’m here” in the app when you are notified the order is ready.
David usually does his weekly live stream at 7pm tonight if you want to see how it works.

Interesting! I had thought the "I'm Here" actually tested your general location. I have experienced a "scolding" from the app by trying to check in for a Table Service reservation from "too far away" (per app restrictions) and had assumed that the Quick Service "I'm here" ran a similar evaluation. Hmmmm ...
 
I just have my teens and my DH signed in as “me” on the app on their phone. I manage the G+ and the mobile orders, but they can each see it all from their phone in the app. That way they can hit “I’m here, prepare my order” when they are actually ready for the food (though it does not seem to have the same geo-location that the checking in for your dining reservations has, so you can hit “I’m here“ from just about anywhere for a mobile order, as far as I have seen).

To my knowledge, the mobile order system doesn't do any geolocation checks (unlike the waitlists at Oga's, Trader Sam's, etc.). I have definitely clicked the "I'm Here" for the Little Red Wagon when I was still fairly deep in DCA with no problems.
