Can someone else check you in?

My mom and brother are going to be at the AsMo while we're on the cruise. Then, we're joining them for the rest of the trip. Can my mom check us in the day we arrive so we don't have to wait in line and can head right to the parks, or do you need to check in with your id and credit card?

Whenever I have checked in I have had to show my drivers license and a credit card. The person whose name is on the reservation must be the one to check in.
