Can someone bring me up to speed on tix?

While I've been preoccupied with life, Disney has been changing ticket rule & regs on us.

So this is what I 've been able to gather. Annual tix have more tiers and the prices have gone up (for our typical passes) roughly $100. They are adding PhotoPass to the AP.

Regular tix are about to go up too.

Is it possible to still bridge discounted tix (from UT, for example)? Or has Disney done away with that loophole?

Is there an on-going thread where tix strategies are being discussed?

There are multiple threads on page one addressing all of the increases, and at least one- possibly more- bridging threads on the first two or three pages. I haven't seen anything where the bridging loophole is closed- but that is an interesting point since APs have to be changed now by guest relations for those wanting the photo option, so you may be on to something- or not. Time will tell.

Bridging* of tickets is still going on.

But if the Magic Your Way system goes the way of the dodo bird (i.e. counts down to extinction) then at such time no upgrades of used tickets, bridged or not, can be done.

* The manual behind the scenes administrative actions resulting in the valuing of a ticket at its ticket booth price, as of the day of an upgrade.
