can someone answer a weight watchers question

DS's teacher is on weight watchers. She has been for a year and has lost a TON of weight.

I want to give her some treats for Xmas. Any advice? I don't want to give her cookies as I know she's on WW. Is there some guideline you can give me?

Any chance of doing a fruit basket? Or maybe a pointsettia plant? Or a candle? I'd stay away from cookies and candy, if possible. It is so sweet and thoughtful of you to want to choose something she can enjoy.

That would be great! It's just that all of the other teachers will be getting treats and I don't want her to feel left out. I know she drinks tea so I think I can get her a few boxes of fancy tea as well.

If she is going to meetings, she might also like a WW gift certificate. The centers have lots of point-friendly goodies, cookbooks, measuring tools, cups, etc. You should be able to get the gift certificates online at the WW website. Also, if you have an Applebees nearby, they have WW foods with points on their menu. You could do a gc for them, too. Can you tell I like gift cards??? As a teacher I got soooo many candles, books, figurines, etc. They were so sweet, but you just run out of room. I also like the fruit basket idea - just make sure they are not going out of town, or can take the fruit with them if they do.
