My daughter received a Free Kids Meal coupon with an award she received at school and I was wondering if it can be used at the Disney locations?

The coupon only say must be used at Landry's owned locations. We are in California and have a location nearby, but will be in Disney next month so I was thinking of saving it for our trip.

Has anyone used a Free Kids meal voucher at the Disney locations?

Thanks :)

I will take a shot at this since my son has gotten them in younger grades. I would say maybe and lean towards no. These coupons are in general sourced from local places as yes a reward for your child but of course the adults have to eat as well. In other words the employees at the Disney locations may not even know they exist as I would doubt those locations are approached asking to support local schools. Your best bet is call direct and ask the question.

That's what I thought. I didn't even think about calling them. That's a good idea.

In the past they honored Landry's programs but they can not be combined with Disney discounts- so if you had AP or DVC you can't combine.
The coupon should tell you if it's location specific or usable nationally.

That's the thing, it doesn't say if it's valid local or nationwide, but it does have her school name and location on it. The terms only read:

*Landry's owned locations only. Not valid during school group, class outing or field trip tours. Cannot be used on to-go orders or with any other promotion, offer or discount. Not valid on tax or gratuity. May not be redeemed for cash.

I'm going to try to call the Rainforest in Disney and see what they say. Won't hurt to ask...

It won't hurt to ask. I know we used one years ago, and the Disney locations are in fact Landry owned because they participate in the rewards programs and priority seating, but it's worth double checking before counting on it.

ETA- in the past you could actually print out and fill in the form to get a reward yourself from the website, it didn't actually have to come from a school, which I know because we homeschool.
