Can my daughter use my magic band for photos?

Family trip coming up. We are not all doing parks. Just fyi....I am an AP. On a day that my daughter takes my granddaughter to a park (note, the baby is 1 year old, daughter and hubby will be purchasing their own tickets)....can she also carry my MagicBand into the park to have it swiped when doing photos? (yes, I have the photo pass on my AP).

Note: There will be days I'm not doing parks and just hanging with my husband at the pool......

If she can't do that, if she swipes for the photos with her own ticket or phone, will we all be able to see the pictures in her MDE? Or at least will she be able to see the photos in her MDE?

Are you all connected as friends & family in MDE? I’m connected with my son & DIL. I can see their pictures even when they’re on a trip & I’m at home. So you should be able to see her photos & download them even without your magic band being scanned. Note.. You can download if you have the photopass add on to your AP. Assuming you know it isn’t included anymore.

But no matter what, she will see the pictures in her MDE if she swipes her MB.

Yes, as @focusondisney notes, as long as your daughter’s family members are linked to you in your MDE F&F list and are sharing their photos with you (that’s a setting in their MDE website), you’ll see them in your MDE without watermarks and will be able to download them and share them with her via whichever means you prefer. If you look at their names in your MDE app or website, it should say “Sharing Photos” or something similar.

Thanks for the updates. I didn't want her to carry my magic band around. Yup, I paid the $99 extra for the photos at my last renewal (and only because of the new grandchild....otherwise I'd say heck no).

As long as she’s linked to friends & family she should be fine with her own band (or if she doesn’t have a band she can link whatever photopass card she gets to your account

My whole family are APs I’m the only one why does the add on and I’m able to get my sisters pictures just fine
