Just found out that my brother and his girlfriend are going to be joining us for part of our upcoming trip. I was going to try to add them to a couple of my adrs and I have one that I had pretty much decided we were going to skip, but I could now let him take it. so, can he just show up and use my name for the adr or do we have to change the name onthe adr? It would also be a difference of 2 people-I made adr for 4 and he needs only 2. How would you, or how can I handle this?? thx.

He can use your ressie no problem.
Even though he is 2, he can simply say upon arrival at the podium that 2 ppl couldn't make it. There won't be an issue.

Now the only issue I can see is if you make another adr for around the same time frame as the one you are giving him. It seems that "double" bookings are being automatically cancelled without telling you.
So if you need to "rebook" something for you you will need to use his name or another name in your party with another phone #, so that it isn't flagged for cancelling.

Have fun on your trip!!

True for the most part. The only time it would be a problem is if the ADR is for a place that required a credit card guarantee (the Fantasmic pkg, a dinner show, Akershus, or California Grill). If you show up with fewer people than are listed for your ADR, your credit card will be charged for the missing people. I know we were when we showed up one short for Akershus.
