Can my 8 yr old eat as an adult on DDP?

I have this skinny boy who can eat like a big man. He is very active and constantly hungry. I am not sure a kid's meal is going to cut it for him. Can I pay the adult price on the DDP for him so he can order off the adult menu? He also eats a varied diet....not just a cheeseburger and chix nugget kind of kid!

I believe you can upgrade, but that would go for tickets also. It's an upgrade to his whole package.

Upgrading his package is probably the worst choice. Just for the dining plan upgrade you'll pay an extra $28 a day and you have to pay extra for his tickets as well. If you decide to go back next year, you wouldn't be able to undo this and make him 9 again. He probably won't eat $28 in food daily. Here are some things I would suggest you do:

1. Choose buffet or all you care to eat meals, everyone is treated equally at those meals and he can eat as much as he wants.

2. Share your adult meal or let him have yours and you eat the kids meal.

3. There are number of CS places that don't have kids menus so he can eat off the adult menu ;most of those are pizza places.

4. If you get the base plan get pay OOP for an appetizer that he'll eat to augment his kids meal. On the Deluxe plan the appetizer is included, but you could still let him have your appetizer.

He'll grow up soon enough and you'll have to pay those grown up prices; enjoy it for a couple more years!
