Can MS merge a studio & 1 BR reservation into a 2BR Lock-Off?

I tried once regarding a Bwv standard 1 bedroom and studio. I called and was told no. I did request near or connecting, mostly because the studio side would’ve had 4 tweens/teens. I was very lucky and got my request and it was connecting. Of course it was not classified a 2 bedroom and I still paid the higher points of a studio and 1 bedroom, but I was happy regardless. So the bottom line is no. We don’t really know if the one bedroom or studio may have been designated originally to be dedicated because we really don’t know the behind the scenes system of room assignments.
