We are going on our first Disney Cruise Nov 30th. I have had several people tell me that a lot of the girls wear their princess dresses to dinner. I was wondering if this was true? If, so I was going to bring our daughters Snow White Duluxe Costume it is very pretty for dinner one night.

What do you think?

We saw quite a few little Princesses in their dresses on our cruise. Belle seemed a very popular choice when dining in Lumiere's. ;)

Absolutely! My two boys dressed up for a character breakfast and it was fun. I saw lots of little princesses last year on our 7 night western on formal night

My DD has the Cinderella costume (probably not deluxe but it is cute) and I planned on her wearing to CRT on land and had intentions of her wearing it on board too. Which restaraunt is most appropriate??

oops i just thought that my comment that my "boys dressed up" may have sounded like they dressed like princesses...they were peter pan and mickey mouse

My twins wore their Belle and Cinderella dresses on night. It was one of the highlights of the trip. So many people commented on them, and during a picture the photographer told them to 'hug' each other and everyone in line said "AHHHH...!" (I bought the picture).

Belle was in the lobby that night, and when she saw my daughter in her 'Belle red dress' (Belle was in her yellow dress), she told my daughter "That was always one of my favorite dresses! I wondered what happened to it. You look beautiful in it!"

My girls really enjoyed wearing their dresses.

My DD4 wore her Cinderella dress on semi-formal night. It was great! The pictures of her with Mickey & Minnie are beautiful.

There is also a princess signing on the Magic. I saw tons of girls in their princess dresses then.

I just love to see the little ones all dressed up in their princess costumes - I think it makes the atmosphere that much more *Magical*. princess:

When I was on the Western cruise in September many children wore their Princess dresses and other Disney "costumes" to dinner, especially on formal and semi-formal night. They were adorable.
One night they were dancing with the servers and everyone at my table was taking pictures even though none of us had children on board with us. I think it is the perfect oppotunity for kids to wear their Disney finery.
At one point 3 Snow Whites were dancing together and were not at all embarassed to have worn the same dress.

I saw a lot of this, too. I thought it was adorable. It was cute seeing the little princesses hugging Mickey, and the little Peter Pans meeting Captain Hook.
Also - except for the formal nights, people really just wore what they felt like. I know it's against Disney policy, but that's how people were dressed. In fact I was going to wear my jacket to dinner every night until I realized I'd be severely overdressed if I did so.
