Can kids play with sand toys at the Grand Floridian?

Just a quickie question :

On the Grand Floridian beach, can kids play with sand toys? Can they use the lake water?

Thanks... just wondering if I should pack the new sand toys!

Yes...but...I'd watch them very carefully near the lagoon...there are some very good reasons that there is no swimming allowed there...some have four legs, others slither, and others are dangerous when the water is ingested.

Thank you very much! You know, I never thought about Alligators! There are not many in WNY, lol! Wow, ok... maybe I will leave them home, safely in the sand box!
