Think for one meal it is a better deal for the kids to be oop and adults ddp and another meal vice versa. Can we do this?

Nevermind...misunderstood question.

Guessing you could tell the server how many credits to use and let them know who is OOP. They have no way of knowing if the kids/adults at the table are the same as on the room reservation...might get trickier if using credits for kids and not adults.

So...I don't know from experience, but bumping for others who do the dining plan.

Everyone registered in the same room must be on the same dining plan, so there must be dining credits allocated for everybody. Children under 10 have children's credits.

You could when you arrive at the restaurant choose which meals you will pay for with dining credits and which you will pay for using another method. Keep in mind, though, that children's credits can only be redeemed for meals from the children's menu.

Thanks for the answers. The reason I asked is at some restaurants like BOG kids meals are 8.99. Ohana's breakfast is close to 15. But for adults I would rather pay oop for the adults at Ohana by the time I figure in dessert, drinks, etc. so I was thinking about at Ohana's paying Oop for the adult meals and using credits for BOG. Then at BOG I could use the adult credits and pay out of pocket for the children.

Yes this will work. Ohana breakfast for adults including tax is only $26.62, so just be sure you're going to "spend" more than that at BoG.

I was kind of wondering the same thing, because DD just turned 10 but she's not going to eat what's on the adult menu at a lot of places. If we need to pay OOP for her because she'd rather have something off the kid's menu instead of the adult's would that work?

Yes you can do this and "save" her adult credits for all of you to eat more TS or signatures.

Yes, just tell the server who is on ddp and who's oop. I tend to book an extra meal or 2 throughout the trip so do this occasionally since something *has* to be oop, never been a problem.
