We are taking MIL to WDW for just two days/three nights next week. I had her pick her top three things per park and we are doing MK/ Epcot on Tues (4/8) and MGM/AK on Wed (4/9). Crazy, I know.....

Her top picks for AK are Lion King show, parade and the safaris. Seems as though I read somewhere you could watch the parade near the entrance to camp minnie-mickey, then hoof it to the last showing of FestivalOTLK at 4:45pm. Can this really be done? I've read that this show is really hard to get into, but the last show not so bad. Nervous with crowds next week if this would really work

Yes, it can be done - we did it at in March! We staked out a spot for the parade (at least one hour before the start) right at the corner of the street leading to Camp Minnie/Mickey. I let dh take care of calmly getting the boys down to the Lion King area, and I weaved through the masses of strollers by myself to get to the show area. I ended up in the first real row (not the shortest first bench).

Be sure to notice, that the first rows are not handicapped seating - some people assume they are because I think the 3rd row is marked that way.

Enjoy the show!

Yup we're done this as well! It was in September when the crowds were low.

Thank-you all for answering. At least I know it can be done, just perhaps not during the crowds we will be encountering. Hmmmm....I'll have to play it by ear when we get there.
