Can I use the Dining Plan the morning of check in?

I'm making preliminary plans for a Feb trip...nothing booked yet, but making dining reservations just in case... Is there any way to use a dining plan credit the morning you check in? Like could I go to the hotel early, check in (even if we can't get into our room yet), and be able to use our dining plan that day for lunch?

Yes, you can use it once you've checked in, even if your hotel room isn't ready yet. They'll load your meal plan and your park tickets to your MagicBand and you'll use your pin code when you use your meal plan.

you can start using the plan as soon as you have checked in. So yes, as long as you are able to get to the resort and check in, you are good to start using your credits immediately.

What about on check out day? We're trying to decide if it's worth it, and our check out day is a full day at the park.

If you do online check in, how early on your check in day can you, well, check in? I'm checking in on a Thursday, and I'd love to use my dining credits for breakfast - if I do online check in, will my magic band work for the dining plan?

You can check in anytime after 6:00 AM. You will need to physically check in at the resort to activate your dining plan credits.
