Can I use my disney rewards to tip?

I have a good amount of rewards points from my Disney Visa and received my rewards card recently. We have the deluxe dining plan, so I am wondering if I can use my card to tip the waiters at the restaurants. Has anyone done this?

Yes, but this past trip I ended up charging to the room and then just paying down at the front desk. It seemed to be easier and took less explaining although I prefer to do it right to the card at the restaurant vs to the key.

Yes, you can use a credit card for tips.

For the OP, the Disney Rewards card works just the same as a credit card, but the remaining balance will be listed on your receipt. This is usually what we use for tips when doing the dining plan. We have never needed cash for anything really.

We charge them to our room and then use our rewards card to pay it off before we go. Works great!
