Can I use Disney Rewards card

I'm not sure if this is the best place for this question or not, but I'm gonna give it a shot.

We are leaving for WDW on Saturday and are trying to figure out how much cash we will need for our trip. We have a Disney VISA and some Disney Reward dollars saved up. I'm trying to find out if we can use that Disney Rewards card at the quick service restaurants and/or the little food carts around the different parks. I'm sure that the table service restaurants will take the Rewards card, but wasn't sure about the QS.

Anyone know?

For the most part you can use your Rewards Card anywhere.

There are a few exceptions, funnel cakes by the American Pavilion is one of them.

Generally speaking though, if you want a popcorn, drink, mickey bar, turkey leg, etc - you can use your card.

since i've got a ton of rewards points on my visa card, i plan to transfer them onto a gift card at world of disney upon arrival, and use them not only for souvies (mainly pins!) but also any OOP purchases at meals (like DH's beloved crabcake appetizers that aren't covered on DDP anymore....)

i only wish i'd had the visa card with disney rewards points when i paid my DS's college tuition - all those lovely little 500's of rewards points i could have had - hindsight sucks.

Can you really purchase a gift card with Rewards Points? Or does OP mean Rewards card? Kathy

yes, you can purchase a gift card with reward points (but i think only the value of the card denomination, not a transfer of odd value) - of course, you've got to transfer the points onto your reward card first (which i plan to do just before leaving home - racking up those points for the next 10 weeks!)
