Can I use an electornic version of my gift cards at Disney?

Howdy,

I have a bunch of Disney gift cards that I don't want to carry around with me in the parks. I know I can combine they together on the Disney gift card website but I also don't want to carry around one gift card with hundreds of dollars on it. For all other gift cards I have, I enter them into an app to track their amounts. The Google Pay app tracks gift cards and so do apps like Gyft. Does anyone know if Disney will give you any trouble for trying to use a gift card without having the actual card and only having the number and the PIN?

It doesn't hurt to try. I also would probably bring the gift cards with you, just in case, even if you end up leaving them in your hotel safe as a backup. I know that I was able to put my Disney eGift Card in my iPhone Wallet app and it worked perfectly.

Get an e-giftcard from Target and it will have a barcode to scan. Then merge all your other gift cards on to that card.

I combined all my e gift cards online and gave the CM at the resort the number and barcode ( I think pin was also printed) and was able to apply the balance to my bill. I did check online prior to know the exact balance to apply. I never had a physical card.

We're not staying on property this time so we have to pay as we go. The e-gift card option is a good idea. I guess we'll just see how it goes once we get there.
