Can I upgrade unused Base Ticket days to non-expiring?

Question: If I purchase a 5-day Disney Base ticket and only use 3 days, can I upgrade the final two days to non-expiring? Or, do I need to pay for the non-expiring upgrade on all of the original 5 days that were on the ticket?

You need to pay the non-expiring price on the 5 days, not just the days you have left.

It is best to use the ticket prior to upgrading, particularly if you know you bought it before a price increase or from a discounter like Undercover Tourist. You must upgrade within 14 days of the first use of the ticket.

It will cost $101.18, including tax, per five day ticket.

Note that a five day base ticket only costs $13 more than a three day base.

It is worth adding the NE only if you will not have to purchase and additional tickets on your next trip.
