Can I upgrade my 5 for 3 park tickets?

I bought the 5 days for the price of 3 days tickets, but now I'm wishing I would have gotten the 6 for 4. Is there any way to upgrade once we get to the hotel/park?

I don't know about that promotion per se. However, last year we had the 3 day park hopper passes that came in our so cal city pass and at the ticket booth they let me upgrade it from a 3 day to a 4 day with a magic morning for only $5/ticket more. I bet they would be happy to do it at the ticket booth and probably for a better price than you would have gotten had you purchased the 6 for 4 initially. Good luck!

Wow, that's really good! Most people report having to pay the difference between the what they paid for a ticket, and what the value of the ticket they are upgrading to. With the citypass, that's usually valued as a pre-purchase 3 day ticket, and it's more than $5 to get to the 4 day ticket. I think you were lucky.

OP, at DLR, you only get credit for what you paid for a ticket. So you'll only get the value of the 3 day ticket when upgrading. Just be aware of that when upgrading at the parks.

If you bought them with a package, contact where you bought the package to see if they'll change it for you. If you bought it online, see if they can help.

So the difference between the buy 3 get 5 and the buy 4 get 6 tickets was 20 dollars. But the difference between a buy 2 get 5 and a six day ticket was a lot more---does that make sense? Basically, will they honor the "special" in June when I want to upgrade?
